Gray Sage Group is an organization formed to empower Indian tribes and organizations to establish, improve, and expand their capacity to serve their members. We were formed with the specific purpose of providing quality and culturally competent services to Indian Tribal governments and programs. Our staff and board are dedicated to building capacity in Indian Country with the goal that Indian tribes are able to effectively serve their people and improve their well-being.

Board and staff members are all experienced in assisting Indian tribes and programs. We offer on-site and public training on a variety of subjects taught by experienced and knowledgeable professionals in their respective fields. We provide expert consulting support to enhance Tribal capacity building through comprehensive consulting and technical assistance services. This helps Tribes achieve the implementation and review of effective and culturally sensitive operational practices and policies.

Jon Grant brings extensive expertise in social services management, with a strong track record of developing and overseeing programs that address the needs of both individuals and communities. His experience spans a wide range of critical services, including TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families), Child Welfare, Child Care, Family Violence Prevention, and General Assistance.
Jon is highly skilled in designing outcome-based programs that deliver measurable results, as well as in grant writing and program development, securing funding from federal, state, and local sources.

Considers the information necessary to advocate, expand, and protect tribal sovereignty; how best to develop, implement, and assess the strategies best positioned to protect tribal culture, and the sovereign rights of all tribal members.
Dr. Frank Mondeaux is an accomplished program evaluation expert and research consultant with 25 years of experience working with Native American people, tribes, and tribal governments. Dr. Mondeaux served more than 30 tribal organizations across the Pacific Northwest. A successful grant writer, published researcher, experienced consultant, father, woodcraft artist, and amateur astronomer, Frank is dedicated to collaborating with individuals best suited to provide, interpret, and apply information.
